Child Abuse Registry Check

As of the 2021-2022 season, Hockey Manitoba has implemented a new policy regarding Child Abuse Registry Checks.

Any person over the age of 18, who is a coach, manager, safety person or trainer of any team endorsed by Hockey Manitoba open to members under the age of 18 (including minor, high school, and junior), shall be required to undergo a child abuse registry check. Applications for such must be submitted to the registering body, (MHA, league, team) prior to the individual being placed on the roster.

Child abuse registry must be renewed every year.

Completed child registry documents are to be submitted to BBMHA who will submit the documents on your behalf. There is no cost when the association submits the documents. Please drop off your completed forms to the BBMHA president in a envelope marked for BBMHA.
