Opportunity Opening: Video Coach - Eastman Selects Regional Hockey Program
The Eastman Selects Regional Hockey Program is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our organization as a Regional Video Coach. This is a unique opportunity to work with all of our regional teams, from U13AA to U18AAA, and contribute to the development of elite young athletes in the Eastman region.
Position Summary:
The Video Coach will be responsible for a critical component of our athlete development strategy: video analysis. Working directly with the head coaches of each regional team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in cutting and editing game footage to create a comprehensive sharedr video library. This resource will be used for player development, opponent scouting, and team strategy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with head coaches to identify key areas of focus for video analysis.

Utilize video editing software to cut game footage and create highlight clips for individual players and team-specific situations.

Build and maintain a centralized video library that is accessible to all Eastman Selects coaches.

Stay up-to-date on current video analysis techniques and software.

Provide a supportive and professional presence, fostering a positive working relationship with all team staff.
Qualifications:

Previous experience or interest in video analysis, sports management, or a related field is preferred.

Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., HockeyTV, TPE, Instat,Coach's Eye, or similar platforms).

A strong understanding of hockey principles, strategies, and player development.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
