Criminal Records Check

As part of BBMHA Policy, all volunteers MUST obtain a Criminal Records Check. Team officials that fail to complete the required searches, will be removed from the team and suspended until such time as proper certification is received.

Criminal Records Check Letter - required for all bench staff (manager, safety person, coaches) and Board Members - valid for 3 years


Child Registry Check

All residents - Child Abuse Registry Check Form

As of the 2021-2022 season, Hockey Manitoba has implimented a new policy regarding Child Abuse Registry Checks. 

Any person over the age of 18, who is Coach, Manager, Safety Person or Trainer of any team endorsed by Hockey Manitoba open to members under the age of 18 (including Minor, High School and Junior), shall be required to undergo a Child Abuse Registry check. Application for such must be submitted to the registering body (MHA, League, Team) prior to the individual being placed on the roster.

Child Abuse Registry check must be renewed every year.

Copies of the application form are to be obtained from the Association President. 

Completed Child Registry documents are to be submitted to BBMHA who will submit the documents on your behalf. There is no cost when the Association submits the documents. Please drop off your completed forms to the BBMHA President in an envelope marked for BBMHA.
